I HAVE
Have you ever felt lonely in a crowd; sad during a throbbing party; unloved amongst friends?
We hear people complaining about what they do not have instead of appreciating what little we need to be happy and focusing on just that.
The struggle each of us has between quantity and quality.
Would I rather have a hundred casual friends or just one real friend?
Should I chase all my dreams or just the one that brings happiness to me?
I attempted to capture these nuances of our lives in this poem.
Sample:
I have all the reasons to exist,
But all I need is one passion to be alive.
I have all of mankind to love,
But all I need is one person to revere.
I have a lifetime of joy,
But all I need is one moment of ecstasy.
