  Rajeev’s writing journey:
 
Rajeev Nanda has been working in hi-tech industry since 1985 focused on IT enterprise solutions. He started his career as a software engineer in India and has worked across many roles and organizations both in India and US. After spending more than 10 years in the US he relocated to Bangalore to help Intel setup their IT group in India. Over the last few years his primary focus has been leadership and senior management positions within Intel IT where he has managed large geographically dispersed organizations and strategic initiatives.
Writing has been Rajeev’s hobby since young age. He started writing short-stories and humorous articles for his school magazine at a tender age of 10. In his college years he would pick up controversial subjects, like atheism, to write an article for the college magazine. He continued to develop his writing skills over the years. Between 1986 and 1989 he contributed to a community magazine in New Delhi as his focus shifted to civic and social topics.
After moving to US in 1990 he focused his writing on subjects of technology and strategy. His diverse experience in IT and business applications supported his hobby of writing. He has authored articles on strategy & management of technology for magazines like Silicon India, Dataquest and e-zines. He also published his book on e-strategy (e-verything.com: How to map out a viable e-strategy) in 2001. He kept his fiction writing a private activity till 2005 when he uploaded his sample stories on American Book Publishers’ (ABP) web-site. The editorial board of ABP extended the contract in Sep 2005 which resulted in the book ‘Conversations’.

Rajeev’s professional profile:


Rajeev completed his graduation in general sciences from D.A.V College in Jallandhar, Punjab (India) in 1984.  He did his post-graduate diploma in Computer Science and other professional certification courses in software & technology from various institutes in New Delhi while working for a startup.

Rajeev was strategy & technical advisor to ‘IndiaConnect.com’ – the first portal to focus on India – right from its inception in 1995 and helped it grow to where it served more than a million hits per month.  He also served as technical advisor to another startup, Chingari, which developed software for managing product development cycle.
